Powder mix for traditional Portuguese dessert (Leite Creme)

Contents:  (4) 23g packs.  A 23g pack prepared according to the instructions given provides approximately 5 portions.


Step 1: 
In a small portion taken from 500ml of milk, dissolve 23g of powder together with 3 or 4 tablespoons of sugar

Step 2: 
Bring the remaining milk to the boil and, when it starts to boil, add the previous solution. Bring to a boil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly

Step 3:
Pour the cream into a dish or small bowls and spread a little sugar over it, burning it with a red-hot iron * Each 23g sachet provides 5 portions of 115g (product reconstituted with semi-skimmed milk)


Store in a cool, dry place. After preparation the product must be kept in the refrigerator and should be consumed within a maximum of 24 hours.
