Maçarico Meat Marinade 200g – Portuguese Tempero para Carne

Maçarico Tempero para Carne is a Portuguese marinade for beef, pork and other red meats, built on red pepper and garlic paste with spices.

Coat the meat, cover and leave it for at least an hour (overnight for pork shoulder or ribs), then grill or roast. It gives the garlicky, paprika-rich flavor of Portuguese churrasco and bifanas with no chopping or measuring.

For a looser marinade, mix a spoonful with white wine and a little olive oil.
